Desizing is where most of the water, energy and effluent cost of sizing actually sits. These grades desize in hot water at 80 to 90 degrees with no enzyme at all, which takes a whole chemistry out of the downstream process.<\/p>\n

Sizaltex water-soluble compound sizing agents are designed to simplify both the sizing process and the desizing process. A single, fully soluble sizing solution is used, with no binders, mixers, or polyvinyl alcohol required. The compound forms a uniform protective film on warp yarns, improves performance during the weaving process, and functions as a complete PVA replacement.<\/p>\n

During desizing, the same water solubility eliminates the need for enzymes. Fabrics desize cleanly using hot water alone, reducing chemical load, energy consumption, and effluent impact while improving productivity and efficiency of the process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
