OUR POSITION<\/p>\n
Cleaner desizing is the whole point<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\nPVA sizes well and desizes badly. It survives the wash and the mill pays for it downstream, at the treatment plant rather than at the sizing box.<\/p>\n
Our compound grades are built on native maize starch, modified in our own plant. They desize cleanly. The water soluble range desizes in hot water at 80 to 90 degrees, which keeps the weaving performance and takes the load off the effluent.<\/p>\n
That is the position. Not a claim about intent, a claim about what comes off the fabric.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
