The compound range covers most warps. Sizaltex LVN exists for the cases it does not, where a gum base behaves better against the fibre, the count or the finishing route a mill runs.

It is specified with our technical team rather than picked off a list. Tell us what you weave and we will say whether it is the right choice, or whether a compound grade is.

Sizaltex replaces PVA rather than sitting alongside it. Final selection always comes from a trial on your own warp.

You are looking to replace PVA

A complete PVA replacement. It gives identical performance while delivering lower COD and higher BOD.

You want to make desizing more efficient

Save cost on enzymes, energy and time in desizing by desizing with hot water and a good scouring and wetting agent.

You want to reduce chemical dosage

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT

The desizing step is the point

Every other compound in the range desizes enzymatically. This one does not, and that is the whole reason it exists.

Enzyme-free desizing

The fabric washes off in hot water at 80 to 90 degrees. No enzyme step, and a smaller bill at the effluent plant.

Wet pick-up improved by 25 percent

More size on the yarn for the same box, which is where the dosage saving comes from.

Shorter desizing time

Removing the enzyme step takes time out of preparation and frees the line sooner.

One fully soluble compound. No binders, no mixers, no polyvinyl alcohol.
