Built for mills that can’t afford to guess
If you’re aiming to reduce end-breaks, achieve cleaner desizing, and keep looms running steadily with dependable technical support, you’re in the right place.
HOW IT WORKS
From warp beam to clean desizing
Eight stages, and the size box is only one of them. Recipe consistency decides fabric quality consistency and loom performance, and whether the loom runs or stops at all.
Warping
Yarn is wound onto the warping beam and prepared for the creel.
Mixing
One sizing chemical goes straight into the mixer, so there is nothing to blend on the floor.
Cooker
Cooked to a stable viscosity, checked during the run rather than only at the end.
Creel
The warp sheet is drawn off under controlled tension.
Size Box
Even film pick-up across the sheet, set against your count and your loom.
Leasing Rod
Threads separated cleanly, with minimal hairiness and minimal dusting on the sheet.
Loom
The beam runs. The size is judged by whether it stops.
Desizing
Water soluble grades desize in hot water at 80 to 90 degrees, which keeps the load off the effluent plant.
Our Product Range
Compound sizing chemistry for every count and every mill.

Compound Sizing Agents
Recipes built on native maize starch, modified in our own plant, for general warp sizing.
Low-Dosage Compound Sizing Agents
Lower dosage without losing film strength, for counts up to Ne 60s.
Up to Ne 60s · Cotton and blends · Lower dosage
Polyester Compound Sizing Agents
Engineered for 100% polyester spun yarn.
100% polyester spun yarn only
Water Soluble Compound Sizing Agents
Desizes in hot water at 80 to 90 degrees, with a reduced effluent load.
Hot water desizing at 80 to 90°C · Reduced effluent load
APPLICATIONS
Where our chemistry runs
The same compound sizing platform, tuned to the count, the fibre and the loom speed of each end use.
Denim and bottom weights
Heavy warp sheets at high pick densities, where film strength decides the shed.
Shirting
Fine counts where hairiness decides the finished fabric grade.
Sheeting and home textiles
Wide-width sheeting and furnishing warps, run in bulk.
Jute
Coarse count jute warps, sized for weaving strength rather than handle.
Terry towels
Ground and pile warps for terry towel production, run at length.
FIBRES SIZED
Cotton · Viscose · Polyester · Tencel · Modal · Bamboo · Hemp · Lyocell · and their blends

We have been working with Alpenol since 1998, and they have been a consistent and reliable partner in our sizing operations. Their products perform uniformly across all sizing machines, helping us maintain stable weaving efficiency and fabric quality.
Consistency is fundamental to our manufacturing philosophy, and Alpenol has played an important role in helping us achieve it. Their sizing chemicals deliver reliable batch-to-batch performance, allowing us to improve loom efficiency and reduce defects.
Their products perform consistently on both our machines, but what truly sets them apart is their technical expertise. Whenever sizing-related issues arise, their team responds quickly, understands the process in depth, and helps us implement effective solutions.

FAQ
Questions mills ask us
Answers written for the person on the shop floor, not the search engine.
What is compound sizing, and how does it differ from a conventional recipe?
One cooked compound replaces the starch, binder and lubricant a mill would otherwise blend on site. Fewer components means fewer variables, so viscosity and add-on stay consistent from batch to batch.
How do you decide the right recipe for our warp?
Add-on and recipe depend on your count, fibre, loom type and weave. Our technical team reviews your setup, recommends a starting point, then adjusts it against your own trial results.
What are your sizing agents based on?
Our compound range is built on native maize starch, modified in our own plant. Recipes are matched to your fibre and count rather than sold as one universal grade.
Which certifications do you hold?
OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT 22.0.47721, valid to 31 May 2027. ZDHC MRSL v3.1 at Level 3, valid to 23 June 2027. GOTS version 7.0. All three are listed on the Certifications page.
Do you supply outside India?
Alpenol supplies mills across 22 markets. Europe is served through our launch markets in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Türkiye, with direct export across Asia, Africa and Latin America.
